  And, to attempt a partial answer to your semi-rhetorical query, it is due to the organized manipulation and lies perpetrated by the ones who profit from the trade; they promulgate and maintain a number of lies that society believes, that tend to justify or minimize the scope of their debasement, and actively promote societal attitudes that perpetuate the problem (such as the myth of the Happy Hooker, or that “high class escorts” are such by choice) I’m seriously pissed off, and intend to use my work to promote my intention to do all I can to help put an end to it, once and for all…..

  I would guess that part of her intent in publishing the letter is for that very reason, so that a younger version of herself might see it, and keep herself from traveling down the same path…. I certainly hope it does….
