Hajime…. Originally, upon getting up today, I hadn’t planned to post a Pearl. But, it came together smoothly, and, quickly, so, rather than waste such cooperation from reality, here ’tis. It’s most likely not the finest of its kind, but, it is done. Oh, wait, that’s pulling covers, isn’t it? Ah, well, since I began using the Tardis, time gets a little slippery now and then. It always seems to come out okay, though, so, we’re gonna fly with it.

Hell, let’s just be efficient as all get out. What you now see is literally what you get. In fact, if you don’t hang on, and pay close attention, you’ll miss it altogether. Why would I say such a thing? Here’s why….

Today’s musical selection is self-indulgent, but, with good reason. I enjoy good improvisation, an uncommon skill, even amongst professional musicians. This band is noted for the brilliance of their jams, which are always long, involved, and, innovative. Here is a live concert from 1995, at Madison Square Garden, that begins with a perfect example of the skill whereof I speak…. Enjoy!….

Platitudes for Attitudes

Platitudes shake us, attitudes break us.
Life can be a real pain, y’know?
Still, if we don’t fight where it takes us,

There. Having successfully, and, completely ignored the events being perpetrated out in the real world today, (I figure all the other bloggers will cover all that sufficiently unto the day….), I can go post this with a relatively clear conscience. In direct contrast to our usual habits, I’ll actually do that now, without any fanfare, or other distraction. I’ll merely say, see y’all next time, most likely tomorrow, as I can’t seem to keep from doing this….
