Fricasseed rutabaga with mulled acorn sauce….

The urge to write is strong in this one…. but, physical issues continue to prevent any such activity, or anything in a chair for more than five minutes. Such is life. In exploring the bottom line suggestions left on the last post, I found this one, from 2014, which isn’t bad, all things considered. So, to sublimate my urge, and to get on with the day, here ’tis, or your reading enjoyment…. or, whatever it is you do here… *grin* Me, I’m outta here… See ya, ffolkes. Happy surfing….

The picture today goes to show that, a) timing IS everything, and b) even amateurs get lucky sometimes…. I took this from the deck of a cruise ship while docked in Scotland, at Greenock, the port town closest to Glasgow. After some mild fixing of the picture’s features to bring out it’s best appearance, it became clear the sky to the right side is different from the sky on the opposite, left side, with the rainbow serving to mark the line between the two opposing filtered views…. One obviously is where the rain is still falling, producing the rainbow as the light is broken up passing through the raindrops, each of which acts as a small prism, breaking the white, transparent light into its component colors…

  1. I too am having a day that even chemistry will not solve…although I try…LOL

    A few thoughts…….

“But with writers, there’s nothing wrong with melancholy. It’s an important color in writing.”

Have a good Sunday my friend and stay well….chuq

    • LOL… an apt statement for today… chemistry won’t solve the long term results from poor decisions based in the far past… in short, my misspent youth is officially back to haunt my present… Sadly, past mistakes in chemistry may be a part of today’s problematic equations… hard to blame it on anything else, y’know?… Ah, well… soon as I can get better, I’ll do my best to stay there… My current decision making process is, no doubt, somewhat more reliable as to results, I should think… Life, though currently a literal PITA, is good, all things considered… just can’t sit long enough to write much… and, in fact, must go now, as I’ve reached a limit… Thanks for stopping by; I’ll try to get by today, if I can work another session in…

      See ya…
