Bursts of artificial sanity….

FFolkes,

“Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends.”

~~ Czech proverb ~~

Glasgow-Greenock Port 041

Sunset over the Sea, off the coast of Scotland….

Howdy, y’all…. Since returning to the blog world, things have proceeded better than expected. The only part with which I’m not completely happy is my own lack of original material; it seems my muse isn’t quite done with her/his/its vacation yet, & there’s little I can do, at this juncture, to summon them home. Ah, well, at least the old-school pearls are flowing along nicely. I can only hope a new poem is percolating, while I work on a new expository outburst. One may only hope some little bit will be forthcoming….

Until that happens, I am, it seems, limiting myself to refining the process, and that seems to be going well enough to not make any changes. In fact, it also has been working to use a bit of moderation here in the intro, depending on the content below to fulfill whatever misplaced urges for approbation I may feel. I trust y’all will let me know how that’s going at some point. Until such a time, how about we stick what seems to be working best, which looks like this….

Shall we Pearl?

“Go often to the house of a friend;
for weeds soon choke up the unused path.”

Thanks to the demo going on in the downstairs apartment, I am having a bit of difficulty deciding on a musical selection. Since I am as much of an egotist as anyone else, and it’s my blog, I decided to go with one of my own favorites, to wit: all six Brandenburg concertos, by Johann Sebastian Bach. This version is from the Orchestra Mozart, Claudio Abbado conducting. Enjoy!….

Honorable Request

Days, filled to a brim with fluff and time, pass
dimly into memory, bit by combative bit;
ever mournful, yet loud with life and sass,
only in dream do we meet, and dance, and flit.

Souls, spinning ’round in gleeful wonder, comply
as they must, never given a reason;
somberly proper, yet limber and quite spry,
dancing on to greet each bright new season.

Storms, angered by apathetic care, rage
proceeding into ministerial glare, unknown;
clothed in colors, purified solely with sage,
past an infinite future, already flown.

Life, plumbed to its depths and secrets, keeps
flowing with currents, strong and fairly found;
love stands, asking release, as it slowly weeps,
seeking refuge unasked, to stay honor bound.

Hajime…. Though the process of creating Pearls of Virtual Wisdom has evolved over the years into its present state, and I have learned to trust its relevance and integral coherence, the simple process of finding worthwhile material, either my own, or from another source, with which to open the festivities has always been the most problematic part to complete. I can’t say exactly why that is, but, ’tis true, nonetheless. I only mention it at all because today’s effort is a perfect example of this conundrum; if you hadn’t noticed, I’ve blathered now for an entire paragraph, without making any sort of progress toward getting it completed. In short, I can’t think of much of anything particularly cogent, or even silly to say…. Ah, well, at least we’re started….

All that said, to our usual lack of purpose, I suppose ‘twould be best to forgo any further attempts to gain credence, & simply get on with the rest of this mess… and, mess it may seem. All the correct parts are in place, and there’s even a new poem, as promised, with which I am content, if not sure yet how it turned out…. Sometimes it has to grow on ya, kinda like mold. Anyway, there’s also a rather cute & obscure set of Naked Pearls, all of which point out some relatively lesser known points on Life @ Large…. At any rate, y’all will make your own decision, of course, as to how it all comes off, as always. Me, I’m going to get it posted, & be off for a walk in the rain….

Without any further ado, let’s do this….

The Journey Becomes The Destination

We eat life, with every glance, every breath,
purposefully consumed to fill our amorphous need;
Every taste inebriates imagination, subtle as death,
waiting for us all, echoing life’s passionate greed.

Who wants to live forever?
Why do we think it matters?
We all live forever;
we always have.

Entropy becomes serendipity, grace made real;
intricately simple, infinitely complex instants are born,
passing review only until freed, fluid stainless steel
flowers, upon ancient crowns, never shorn.

All that is,
always was;
all that is,
shall always be.

Metaphor, and all its ilk, becomes lost in mystery’s lure,
until illumination consumes the capacity for truth.
Adversely, reaction sits in, replacing true rapture
with sad remnants of one old telephone booth.

Only in darkness
can we see the light.
Only in silence
can we hear the music.

An ancient muse seeks proper language, forever remote;
within the within, without entering without.
Improvising life works as if learned by rote,
the same as in dreams, no doubt.

Alaskan Taxi off to Juneau, or the interior….

Hajime…. I skipped posting anything at all yesterday, & frankly, I can’t work up any particular emotion about that. Even a couple months ago, going even a day or two without writing or posting would have prompted an outburst of creative angst sufficient to produce any number of words, most of which could be construed as purposeful, if not elegantly literate. But, these days, I’m lucky to produce a complete, even sparsely filled out Pearl; hell, the poem I’ve been trying to write has gone & disappeared entirely, no dregs of it to be found anywhere…. SIGH. Even that, I’m afraid, doesn’t stimulate any guilt, which tells me, at least on one level, my sanity no longer depends on this process, though, I have to admit, it is soothing in some way to have written an entire paragraph, even one as choppy & pungent as this one…. Hey, it’s all fresh, so, whattya want? Ibsen on demand? Jackson Pollock at a moment’s notice? Hah…. Not here, ffolkes….

That isn’t to say I don’t have a Pearl for today. But, it’s being posted late, without a fresh poem, and it’s not going to get any better, or, any less fulfilling for me, so, I’m gonna post it, late as it is. It’s only late because I now sleep normally, arising at a time when I’d have been up writing, & getting ready to post for at least two hours. Hell, it’s already light outside, which isn’t normal for this process at all. But, despite my new ability to actually sleep for a normal period, thus resuming a diurnal existence rather than an insomniacal one (well, one equally nocturnal as diurnal, anyway….), it can’t be called anything but nearly normal, a phrase I thought never to apply to any of this. Normal just hasn’t been in the works for a very long time, & I’m not certain I like it….

But, there it is, in all its mundane glory, so, we’ll post it & see how it flies. In fact, we’ll do that now, so I don’t lose what little nerve I have remaining. We’ll use one of our oldest, most reliable techniques, too, just to keep things moving in the proper direction. It’s very simple, & works like this….

Shall we Pearl?….

“To live content with small means,
to seek elegance rather than  luxury,
and refinement rather than fashion,
to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich,
to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly,
to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart,
to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never,
in a word to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious,
grow up through the common, this is to be my symphony.”

Augmentation: Inner Aye

Distant, peals of thunder, vividly.
Closer, a patter of rain, falling gravidly.
Between the light and the darkness of fear
find merely the remnants of one lonely tear.

Do not hate us, though we have not sinned;
eager for courage, upon whom all hope is pinned.
Tales of insolence, hatred, or fallen virtue
fill us up, not down, in such pristine foreign venue.

Capable hands severed, able hands tied;
the future is angry, all but now denied.
Multiple times, warnings sounded across the pale
nobody heard, nobody came to tell the tale.

Gifted by time, salience fails in epic rhyme;
watchmakers watching, each a separate crime.
Logical solutions refuse to emulsify
forever pretending to cruelly crucify.

Blood will fly alongside pertinent composure,
never seeking, never finding tea, or closure.
Falsely laid trails on mountains of gold
imply no happy endings, no fortunes told.

Ages past have no time for repetition;
further chances only lead to perdition.
Destiny feels a shameful portion of guilt,
for a thousand sand castles, never built.

Sonoma Valley, post-harvest in the west valley…

Hajime…. and good morning. Today is one of the few days to which I pay any particular attention, as it is the anniversary of my advent upon this planet. Yep, I’m 67 years old today, & happy to be so. Sadly, one  of the disadvantages of achieving such a relatively advanced age has assumed prominence in my attention, with a physical issue that is annoying, as it precludes getting any writing done. Suffice it to say, I cannot sit for very long right now, without HAVING to change position to either upright, or supine. In short, sitting is NOT my friend right now, & I have yet to find a comfortable or efficient way to use my computer while standing, or lying down…. SIGH….

I said I’d post today, though, so, post I will. The only difference is, this short bit is all the time I have; I can’t continue, so, I’m going to post as quickly as possible, & go about dealing with the physical issue as best I may. You may ask, how will I do that? Trust me on this; you don’t want to know. In fact, just hang on, because we’re goin’ in hot again….

Shall we Pearl?….

“The hour is striking so close above me,
so clear and sharp,
that all my senses ring with it.
I feel it now: there’s a power in me
to grasp and give shape to my world.
I know that nothing has ever been real
without my beholding it.
All becoming has needed me.
My looking ripens things
and they come toward me, to meet and be met.”

Confidentially Paranoid

Only when the bright sunlight of dreams draws nigh
can the dark glass of reality factor true value..
Destiny’s horses run in fear as time goes dry,
for grappling with fate in such traitorous venue.

In pallid costumes made of graven cast-off tales,
fallen angels and demons show the measure of faith.
No sad transactions should escape these well-marked trails,
no angry relatives cast insults to a sedentary wraith.

Meaning can always hide in literal cold intent,
yet show mere facets of honor to perishable youth.
Sincere contentions leave with sorrowful bent,
while bastardly arguments fill in poorly for the truth.

Gone are moments filled with florid blasts of rhyme
left to molder on the shoulders of unreasonable hope.
Only courage can save these measures of unspoken time
to gather new issues, powerfully broad, painful in scope.

Morning Glory….

Hajime…. While I’m uncertain what to call it, today’s freshly produced Pearl has been completed, not because of any great effort on my part, but, rather, in spite of it. I know, that doesn’t sound logical, or even coherently rational; it remains, however, the truth. It’s been a funny day or two, in the “ha-ha”, ironic sense, not the actual amusing sense; not everything I’ve done, or seen, or heard, or experienced vicariously makes much sense. But, I suppose one can always fall back on the realization, that’s pretty much how life goes. So, instead of dwelling upon matters which would have no real effect on what happens next, we’ll go on to whatever happens next.

Uh, oh…. I just realized, I am the one who must decide where to go, & what happens next. Oh, boy…. that could be a problem. No, wait, that’s not accurate; that WILL be a problem, due to a completely unambiguous state of confusion which I find to be my most prominent feature of intellect so far this morning. In short, I haven’t a clue as to what, or where to go with any of this. Of course, that’s probably nothing new, from your perspective; it’s only my own sense of angst which makes it problematic. Oh, wait…. Okay, we’re good to go; I realized, this entire paragraph, thus far, much like all of what you’ve seen, is so far off the rails, nothing at all will have any real effect on the outcome. Good, I can go on to the next paragraph with a clear conscience….

Well, relatively clear, anyway. Since I’ve already lost any thread which might tie all of this together, (not that we ever had one in our grasp today….), I’ll use what little executive privilege I have to move us all onto the next section, where we may find a bit more competence. We’ll find good music, if nothing else, so, it’s probably the correct way to go. Given the previously demonstrated lack of coherence, I’ll even do so with dispatch, to avoid any further feelings of guilt over what I’ve done here, of which I can easily, and honestly say, probably isn’t the best intro you’ve ever seen. It does have one distinct advantage, which is, it’s now done….

Shall we Pearl?….

Manifesto, sotto voce

In retrospect, I have to say,
it’s all been rather a muddle.
Life is tough, so ‘they’ all say,
plenty of misery, without much cuddle.

Me, I’ve found life a bit different
than ‘they’ seem to have done.
It’s all been rather excellent;
I’ve had loads  & loads of fun.

Sure, there’s been some bad shit.
Who can’t say that?
All of that pales, all of it,
beside the love of a dog, a child, or a cat.

I’ve striven, perhaps more than my share,
against all the evil in life.
The pain that remains often seems unfair,
until I have to ask, why did I chose such strife?

The answer is found, always in the same place,
right where it has ever resided.
All we need is to embrace
the joy just living has provided.

Simple is good.
Balance is good.

Life is both.

Just another path to adventure….

Hajime…. As promised, I do have a relatively fresh Pearl ready to go; it’s not quite as fresh as I’d like, but, I did get interrupted right when I had hoped a new poem was about to leak out. At 0430 this morning, the phone rang, never a good thing to hear in the middle of the night. After finding the phone, which had fallen under the bed, I spoke with my son, who, along with his family, had been awakened at 0330 by the authorities in Sonoma county, to evacuate their house due to the danger of nearby wildfires that sprang up last night in several places in Napa and Sonoma counties…. They were not even able to come to my home, as the roads between were closed…..

So, now I’m up, worried somewhat, though I know my son is well able to handle such events & take care of his people; it’s still worrisome to think of them in distress, even if not in danger. So, I’m distracting myself by posting today’s Pearl; what I’ll do after that’s done remains to be seen, but, will probably involve some further worry, though I know it isn’t necessarily a constructive response. Even wise old farts can’t always keep from needless worry when family is involved. I know they’ll be okay; it’s just worrisome….

To keep from becoming either maudlin, or manic, I’ll go ahead & finish this off, get it posted, & then try to figure out how to keep from thinking about it, long enough for them to get settled somewhere for a time, until they can return to normalcy, or as nearly as is possible…. In fact, I’ll do that now, as it gives me something to think about that isn’t too complicated, or close to home…. I’ll see y’all at the closing section; for now, it’d be best if you hang on to the nearest stanchion, or, resume your seats, as our pilot showed up a little tipsy….

Shall we Pearl?….

Today’s music is a compilation of a number of epic Celtic music compositions. I’ve included it today for two reasons; first, I’m too distracted to make a search for anything else, & second, I need the soothing elements to provide some relief from the stress of having family in distress, from being evacuated from their homes due to fires raging nearby…. Hopefully, it will relax us all…. Enjoy…..

I am up early, not because the poem I’m percolating was ready to come out, but, because I received a phone call at 0430 or so, when my son called to tell me they were being evacuated from their home due to the massive fires threatening Sonoma Valley, where he lives with his family. To sublimate, here is an older poem, with nothing to do with fires, or danger from natural events…. Since I haven’t even picked one yet, you’ll be getting Hobson’s choice….

Ah Ain’t Sho, but Mebbe So….

Ah’m not even sure of mah name,
or how Ah come to be;
no idea from where Ah came.

Ah does like a mystery tho’,
puzzlin’ things out so’s Ah knows,
good from bad fo sho,
Ah sho don’t want no rock pillows.

If’n Ah cain’t figure out what’s best,
Ah just falls back on mah Daddy’s words,
seems he knowed just whut’d stand the test,
‘n how to gentle the scaredest birds.

‘Course, he’d lived a good long time,
‘n had lots of stuff go on by;
Went to a war, n’ lost a piece or two,
never once used it fer an alibi.

He tol’ me once Ah’d best learn to learn,
school’s only cool if ya ain’t already a fool.
Yer own good measure you can earn,
by startin’ yer learnin’ with the Golden Rule.

Always seemed to me as Ah growed up,
he mostly only spoke if it wuz true,
‘n by doin’ that clued me to what’s up,
kept me from stuff that’d a made me blue.

Without ever sayin’ the word itself,
Ah learned ’bout honor, ‘n helpin’ others
not some fake stuff from some shelf,
but, knowin’ whut’s right, ‘n that we’re all brothers.

Ah’ve been around long enough now, Ah think
to get around the block at least two times.
I s’pose long as my head don’t shrink
Ah’ll keep on doin’ right, ‘n makin’ these rhymes…..

Prim morning beauties….

Hajime…. I’ve missed posting a fresh Pearl for some days now; I even blew off yesterday entirely, spending the whole day in pursuits not connected to a computer at all. Y’know what? I don’t feel any guilt, nor angst for having done so, which is rather a good indicator, in at least three respects, none of which I’ll bother explaining. In fact, the only identifiable feeling I have this morning is an almost irresistible urge to be silly…. Go figure, eh? Just another day here in…. Hmm, where are we, actually? I suppose, since we’re all not here, exactly, we could be considered as guests in cyberspace; can’t live there, obviously, but, we do manage to spend a lot of time there, mostly with little purpose. Why would I be different?

There. That manages to be obscurely intelligent sounding, without any hint of silliness. Quite an accomplishment, all things considered, and not one I’m going to examine too closely, lest I notice how close to home such nonsense can strike. Instead, since I have all the correct elements already in place, I’ll use the time to convince y’all I’m much more competent than I appear, even in the distorted mirrors we typically have at out disposal. Hmm… funny word to use about our sensory input, but, hey, we’re trying to achieve a specific purpose, & such micro-management wouldn’t hold up long, anyhow. Let’s move on, to the next paragraph, where we may find a spot of the sense we currently lack.

Or, not, as the case may be. I really can’t say ANY of what is passing through my mind this morning is very sensible. Nor did it ever get truly silly, or even comprehensible. I guess, since we’ve tallied no viable successes, it would be best if we just gave up for today, & hope our next effort can find us a bit more integrated. Whatever THAT means. I don’t think I’d be the best choice to find the answer today, & rather than belabor the point any further, let’s go see what there is to see down below. I know the music for today is excellent, (in my humble opinion), there’s a decent poem from the archives, and a fine set of pearls for the final section, where we once again dive deep in the metaphoric metamind, to poke around in the human psyche… Great fun for all, you’ll see….

Shall we Pearl?….

The somewhat eclectic-appearing young man you see above entered the 2015 contest on The Voice USA, performing a classic standard called A Man of Constant Sorrow for his audition. Within seconds of beginning to sing, three of the four coaches had turned to watch, & the fourth only held out until the chorus. His voice, and style, are unique, as is his musical upbringing, giving him a feel and style completely his own. I’ve embedded the initial audition, & included the link to his own You Tube page, where you can find a lot of his work, including some recent live performances…. Love creeps in, without a sound.

Fat days, skinny nights, passionate

Hazy day on SF Bay….

Hajime…. My regular Gentle readers may have noted my complete absence yesterday; others may not. Nonetheless, it’s so; I blew the day off completely, to avoid any display of the insanity which characterized my day. I can’t really say why, or, even how, the day got that way. I only know I sat to begin composing in the early hours of the morn, & realized it wasn’t going to happen…. With a dispatch unusual for me, I got up, & left the computer behind for a couple hours, going for an early walk, & spending time with Leelu, who is feeling better, but, still a bit clingy. We had a quiet day, in which I visited a couple blogs I’d missed lately, but, otherwise spent only the minimum of time online, sufficient only to keep my inbox clear of dross.

I also managed to put together a decent enough Pearl for today, with some excellent music & a rather fine old-school pearl for the final section. The new poem did leak out a few more verses, but, isn’t ready for consumption, so, I went with one from a while back, during my stint in opioid hell. For what it is, and was during its creation, it’s pretty decent, too. All in all, it’s right & tight enough to post, so, that’s what I’m going to do, as soon as I quit fooling around with this intro…. In a quick survey of what has occurred thus far, I’m thinking it would be well to do that now. Quit fooling around, that is….

So, I will. In fact, I’ll be unusually kind, & do that right now, or, as soon as I figure out which one of these exit techniques will work the best. Oh, look, here’s one we haven’t used in quite some time; it’s always been a favorite, too, so, why not bring it back for an encore today? It’s a pretty cool method, & works very simply. Watch this….

Shall we Pearl?….

“At the bottom no one in life can help anyone else in life;
this one experiences over and over in every conflict and every perplexity:
that one is alone.
That isn’t as bad as it may first appear;
and again it is the best thing in life
that each should have everything in himself;
his fate, his future, his whole expanse and world.”

I discovered this artist during a recent binge of watching old talent show auditions. She competed during the 2014 Britain’s Got Talent show, placing in the top 7 finalists. A brilliant violinist with a sparkling, roguish personality, she set the British entertainment scene on fire with her flamboyant attitude, and brilliant showmanship. I found her charming, and a better violinist than most will realize. I’ve included the links to her You Tube page, and her own website, where you can find a large number of videos of her playing live gigs and collaborations with other artists. Measures of Intent

Hell is never far away; it slips in, then out,
like a ninja, bent on stealth and death.
Living metamorphoses, in the space of a breath,
sordid entropy fills us, within, and without.

Tide turns again; back and forth it tumbles,
like those little wind up toys, yet never stays.
All our efforts, all our silly little ways,
disappear like seaweed, as sanity crumbles.

The duality of reality in which we are firmly caught,
seems to inhabit every part of our natural selves.
Nothing is ever still, nor can it be placed on shelves;
we are dark, and light; balance must be taught.

Life is lived only one moment at a time,
past and future have no power to alter this at all.
We can choose to fly, or choose to fall;
finding truth, and beauty, can never be a crime.

Chance, or design?….

Hajime…. As we all know, or, if not, should know, every day is new & different from any previous day. (We won’t go into any questions regarding the science of similarity….) I, for one, am fully aware of this, yet, after enough time, many days SEEM to be exactly like the rest of them, & change seems as a dream. But, then, I do consume large quantities of several types of chemicals which tend to alter consciousness, and, concurrently, perception. So, who’s to say what Reality really is, or means, or whether any of it actually exists as anything other than a fevered dream, of a self-aware monkey, lost in inner space….?

Whether or not I have any opinion on any of that (discount the mere fact I wrote it….), here we are, again, & once more, I’m both late, and clueless. But, I do have the answer to both of those, if only for a few moments; chutzpah. If you have to look it up, you won’t understand it, anyway; for those who know its meaning, or, more importantly, its implications, a complimentary cup of broth will be awarded, upon verification of your genome. For those who simply don’t want to make the effort, you win. It’s all nonsense, anyway, just to fill a bit more space, a tawdry distraction to keep you from realizing what crap this is….

Oh, well; so be it. I don’t really have anything to say, that either hasn’t already been said, or, would make any difference. To keep from getting distraught over what I am currently unable to change, or control, I’ll use my executive authority to call a halt to any further attempts at making y’all laugh, or cry, or whatever I can get. Illusory Time

Viewed from askance, the river is long;
deep, uncompromisingly intent, swift and strong.
In duality, perception creates our only reality;
such faux metaphoric paradox enforces mutability.

By two we perceive, both zero, and one;
digital, binary, on or off, such fun.
Separate, melded, we exist, knowing not what we know
ego, striving to be solitary, looking above, seeing below.

Furiously asleep, cultural anomaly claims a victim of choice;
validly unconscious, nobody speaks, nary a voice.
Potential escapees stir in dreams, fighting to wake,
until taking the wheel, for their own bloody sake.

Pots boil in due time, when the fire’s hot,
time exists to our advantage; or, not.
The solitary warrior, head bent in pain,
fights on, with, or without gain.

Night fell, day after day it persisted;
of those who knew, none showed any care, or resisted
Angels, ministers, none had any defense, nor grace;
all that remains is a face.

Tattered remnants of decency….

Ffolkes,

“Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?”

~~ Abraham Lincoln ~~

coit tower

Coit Tower, San Francisco

Hajime…. Today’s Pearl is epic. Not because of its size, or the scope of its contents, but, rather, because of the effort I had to expend to get it finished. Without going into superfluous, as well as gratuitously graphic detail, I will say, it was immensely problematic, & that’s about as gently obscure as I can make it. To complement such restraint, I’ll go further to note, the effort remains, well, effortful, simply to get an intro done, a closing, and, finally, posting, all completed in a fashion with which I can be content, if not thrilled. I figure, y’all may have to follow a similar pattern, to get out of this intact.

That said, to our common dearth of purpose, I will now proceed to the closing section, sans further blather, so I can move on to the next day’s issues. The issues extant today are simply more than I want, or am able to deal with, &, to be frank, I’m planning on a rebellion, if only to take myself to bed for a time, to hide. So be it. Doing so may look like cowardice, but, believe me, it’s merely a reaction to the massive control I must apply to NOT fly into an uncontrollable rage against the world at large… In short, don’t ask.

Instead, just take it with the usual multiple grams of salt, pass to the end, & get on with your own life, just as if it mattered. It does, but, finding the ‘why’ is a tough row to hoe. And, that, ffolkes, is about as philosophical as I can get today. To save y’all from any more such displays, I’ll use some of my legerdemain, & take us out of here before it all goes sour. Here, eat this spoonful of sugar, close your eyes, & hang on….

Penance, Made Simple

After all the dross is sent away
a celebration can begin,
time will face up to space, to stay
willing, to shine from within.

Anger and confusion come in to share
brushing reason aside,
eager to welcome all that is fair,
alert to danger, eyes wide.

Re-gift the wicked with their own pain
stand with the just;
fail to partake of the ill-gotten gain,
living in honor, the only must.

Standing fast in the face of wrong
is its own prize and reward.
Holding on to truth makes us strong,
well worth working toward.

Little is left to chance by fate
our lessons are never free of cost.
Seldom does reality make us wait
only when alone, are we lost.

is but the intrepid effort of the soul
to keep the open independence of her sea;

which cycles endlessly from day to day.

Go figure…. I got so excited over getting to this point, I almost posted it without a closing section. Since I’m in a state where trying to make it good will, most likely, blow up in my face, this is all you get for that. I’ll merely say this: I will be back, in a better state…. Hell, it can’t get any worse just now; even knowing this, too, shall pass, isn’t helping it to taste any better. I know, I’ll spit it out…. How’s this for efficiency?….

Y’all take care out there,
and May the Metaphorse be with you;
Blessed Be, dearest Carole, Mark,Theresa, & Richy
and everyone else, too…

When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.

Which is Why….

Sometimes I sits and thinks,
and sometimes,
I just sits.
